Why batch used to mean “pay up”
Cloud removers meter GPU time, so batches are where the invoice appears. A local queue has a different limit: your battery and your patience. Ten portraits on a laptop GPU is a short wait. A hundred 24-megapixel files on a phone is a long one. Choose the device to match the pile.
How CleanBG queues work
Drop several JPEGs, PNGs, WebPs or HEICs on the tool. They appear as a strip of thumbnails and run one after another, sharing the model that is already in memory. You can add more files while a run is in progress. When a result is ready you can still edit the mask, change the background, crop, or pick PNG / WebP / JPG.
Download ZIP packs every finished cutout using the export settings you currently have selected — so set white background and JPG before you zip if that is what the marketplace wants.
Tips that save time
- Use Fast mode to drain the queue, then re-run Quality on the one or two shots where hair is messy.
- Keep longest sides under ~4000 px unless you need print. The model reasons at 512–1024 px anyway; giant inputs mostly cost memory.
- Do not close the tab until the ZIP has started downloading. Everything lives in RAM for this session.
Privacy still holds
A batch is still local. There is no bulk-upload API hiding behind the queue. The ZIP is built with JSZip in the page, then saved by your browser.
